Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting across the full LDRP scope
• Support patients through labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
• Provide nursery care as part of the LDRP care continuum
• Float to Antepartum (AP), NICU, and Postpartum/Nursery units as needed
• Document and manage patient records using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active compact or Tennessee RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of LDRP experience (Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• AWHONN certification required
• NRP certification required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 18 months required; must be clearly documented on candidate profile including where Epic was utilized
• Candidates must pass the Epic competency exam; only one attempt is permitted
• All certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submission; additional time-off requests will not be considered after submission
• No block scheduling or special schedule requests will be accommodated
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate as travelers

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across Antepartum, NICU, and Postpartum/Nursery units
• Prior travel nursing experience in an LDRP setting
