Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as a member of the interdisciplinary care team in the provision and management of patient care
• Care for a patient population that includes cardiac, stroke, and general medical patients
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6 on night shift
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN license or compact nursing license (must reflect Active status)
• Active BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or U.S. Military certificates also accepted)
• Active ACLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or U.S. Military certificates also accepted)
• Active NIHSS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (based on driver's license)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for cardiac and stroke patient populations
• Comfort and flexibility with floating across campuses within the same discipline
• Familiarity with Level 3 Trauma Center environments
