Job Title

Travel RN – Medical Surgical / Observation (Night Shift)

Location

Smyrna, TN | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Observation unit during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with facility protocols
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition, escalating care as appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate safe and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Ability to commit to a 13-week travel contract with a projected start date of September 28, 2026

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Observation unit setting
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems commonly used in acute care environments
