Job Title

Travel RN – Telemetry / Med Surg (Float Pool)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12s (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 13+ weeks | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a float pool capacity, floating to multiple units including Telemetry, Med Surg, and Cardiac as needed
• Manage an acute care patient population with an average ratio of 1:7
• Utilize EPIC EMR for all documentation and patient management (required)
• Work every other weekend and may be asked to work holidays, with the ability to request one holiday off
• Adhere to facility dress code, including navy blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – Virginia State License or Compact License required
• ACLS certification (AHA only) required
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry / Med Surg experience with demonstrated Cardiac experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required; no block scheduling will be accommodated
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of Med Surg Telemetry experience in an acute care setting
• Experience floating across multiple units in a high-acuity environment
• Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center environments
