Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care within a high-volume department seeing approximately 68,000 annual visits across 49 beds organized in 5 pods
• Deliver care in a Level II Trauma Center environment, including management of Pediatric, Trauma, STEMI, and Stroke patients
• Maintain patient ratios at a maximum of 4:1
• Accurately document patient care and clinical information using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a Joint Commission Accredited STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Receiving Center

Required Qualifications

• Current California RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience in a Level II Trauma Center or higher, including exposure to Pediatrics, Trauma, STEMI, and Stroke cases

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
• Current TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
