• Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours per shift, with overtime possible for hours exceeding 12 per day

Clinical Scope

• Inpatient hospital coverage in emergency medicine
• Management of approximately 110 patients per 24 hours
• Evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of emergency patients
• Documentation and order management within hospital EMR systems
• No procedural or resource requirements specified

Requirements

• Active California medical license
• DEA registration
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3–5 years of residency
• ABEM or ABEOM certification (not ABIM or ABFM)
• Current CV uploaded to the bid
• Candidates with clean files are eligible for December coverage; others start in January
