Altus, Oklahoma OB/GYN Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity
December 21–24 | 24-Hour Call | 25–30 Deliveries/Month | Level I Nursery

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician for concentrated holiday locum tenens coverage in Altus, Oklahoma.

This is a defined December 21–24 call block supporting an established community OB/GYN program with approximately 25–30 deliveries per month, a Level I Nursery, and responsibility for both obstetric coverage and emergent OB/GYN presentations.

Coverage Needed

• December 21–24, 2026
• 24-hour call: 7A–7A
• Four-day holiday coverage block

Practice Environment

• Approximately 25–30 deliveries per month
• Level I Nursery
• 49-bed community hospital
• Obstetric and gynecologic emergency coverage
• Physician responds to ER consultations including:
  • Miscarriage
  • Ectopic pregnancy
  • Other acute OB/GYN emergencies

Clinical Expectations

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN call coverage
• Manage labor and delivery responsibilities
• Evaluate and manage emergent obstetric and gynecologic presentations
• Comfortable with the clinical needs of both OB and pediatric/newborn care
• Independent physician coverage appropriate to a community hospital environment

Requirements

• Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician
• Appropriate experience providing independent OB/GYN call coverage
• Required skill set includes OB and Pediatrics
• Comfortable managing emergency OB/GYN presentations
