Job Summary:

As an Evening Shift Respiratory Therapist, you'll be a vital part of our dedicated team, contributing to the healing and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide life-sustaining treatments and therapies to patients with respiratory disorders, including ventilator management, aerosol therapy, and pulse oximetry monitoring

• Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor patient progress

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of respiratory equipment

• Develop and maintain accurate and detailed patient records

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Requirements:

• Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification

• Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners licensure

• Minimum two years of experience in acute or post-acute care settings
