About this Opportunity:

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for the execution and running of a CNC tube laser operation.Responsibility for the setups, working with CNC programs and machine software along with the general running of the tube laser operations. Works under general supervision; relies on experience and general instructions to perform the functions of the job.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Operate CNC tube laser cutting machine used in the production process.
• Stage material, load material and unload finished material from machine.
• Program machine per order requirements and nesting software to minimize scrap.
• Checks processed aluminum tube shapes to ensure operation is producing to required job specifications.
• Troubleshoot as necessary to optimize machine productivity and minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Provide a high level of detail and attention to focus on the given task.
• Ensure production schedules are followed and process paperwork as necessary.
• Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures.
• Monitor machine inputs and perform preventive maintenance tasks per manufacturers machine recommendations.

What makes you a great fit:

• Minimum high school diploma.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of running CNC laser machines, tube laser experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of mathematical functions.
• Must be able to understand and interpret the various Machine Code for CNC machines.
• Working knowledge of computer equipment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
