We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Associate to join a well-established boutique CPA firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys working directly with clients, managing a variety of tax engagements, and being part of a smaller, collaborative team.

This is a 100% in-office position and is not remote.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns

• Work with a variety of individual and business clients

• Handle more complex tax returns and related tax matters

• Research tax issues and assist with tax planning

• Review client financial information for accuracy and completeness

• Communicate directly with clients regarding tax questions and documentation

• Assist with notices, extensions, estimates, and other tax-related matters

• Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines during busy season

• Work closely with firm leadership and other accounting professionals

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of tax experience within a CPA firm required

• Strong experience preparing individual and business tax returns

• Solid understanding of federal and state taxation

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and client communication skills

• Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a plus

• CPA candidate or actively pursuing CPA licensure is highly preferred

• Comfortable working in-office as part of a collaborative team
