Summary

  • Full-time 1st shift opportunity with a manufacturer of precision grinding products
  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing instructions
  • Set up and operate CNC equipment to produce quality machined parts
  • Perform accurate measurements and inspections using precision measuring instruments
  • Learn basic CNC programming concepts, including G-Code, and make minor program adjustments as needed
  • Maintain quality, safety, productivity, and documentation standards in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing instructions
  • Fixture, set up, and operate CNC equipment
  • Select appropriate work holding and installing tooling
  • Make basic machine adjustments to maintain quality and productivity
  • Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, bore gages, indicators, comparators, and height gages
  • Learn and apply basic CNC programming concepts, including G-Code
  • Make minor program and controller adjustments as needed
  • Complete required inspections and record job information accurately
  • Perform routine equipment checks and communicate equipment or maintenance needs

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts
  • Ability to accurately measure and inspect parts using precision measuring tools
  • Willingness to learn CNC programming concepts and G-Code
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical work
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and crouch as needed
  • Must pass a Background Check and Drug Screen
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
