Step onto our shop floor in Louisville and turn raw stock into precision components that keep our customers’ operations moving. In this role, you’ll translate drawings into dimensionally accurate parts, make smart adjustments on the fly, and keep our equipment humming. If you love tight tolerances and solving complex machining puzzles, you’ll feel right at home here.

What you’ll handle day-to-day

• Set up and run a variety of machine tools—lathes, mills, and grinders—tailoring setups to each job.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and schematics to define machining paths, tooling, and speeds/feeds.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to sustain optimal machine performance.
• Monitor cuts in-process, making offsets and parameter tweaks to uphold quality and throughput.
• Verify part accuracy with precision metrology tools; confirm conformance to all specifications.
• Collaborate with teammates to refine processes, reduce cycle time, and boost productivity.
• Keep work cells organized and safe, following established safety procedures and best practices.

What you know

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional machining coursework/certification is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience as a machinist or in a comparable manufacturing role.
• Hands-on proficiency with both CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Solid understanding of machining methods, tooling selection, and material behavior.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and detailed blueprints.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving instincts.
• Clear communication skills and a team-first mindset.
