Position Overview
We are seeking a CNC Operator to manufacture rigid insulation and related components used in residential and commercial construction projects.
The CNC Operator will prepare raw materials, load and operate CNC machinery, verify machine settings, and inspect finished components for quality.
The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong technical and computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position requiring extended periods of standing and regular interaction with CNC machinery, raw materials, and production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machinery and associated computer controls.
- Program CNC equipment using pre-written programs and established procedures.
- Review work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and material specifications.
- Plan machining operations based on production requirements and specifications.
- Verify machine settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and sample workpieces.
- Monitor drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing, knurling, and thread-chasing operations.
- Inspect finished components to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Maintain quality and production standards throughout the machining process.
- Follow all safety regulations, procedures, and company guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team while taking responsibility for assigned production tasks.
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to operate CNC machinery.
- Experience with G-code programming preferred but not required.
- Experience with AutoCAD preferred but not required.
- Strong computer and technical skills.
- Ability to read and understand manufacturing documents, blueprints, work instructions, and safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain product specifications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours per day.
