CNC MACHINE OPERATOR – WEEKEND SHIFT (HORIZONTAL / ROBO)
Abundant Solutions | Plano, TX
Abundant Solutions is seeking skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operators to join our team for our weekend shift. This is a great opportunity for experienced candidates looking to work an extended weekend schedule while being part of a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Pay & Schedule
Pay: $20.00+ per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 6:00 AM–6:00 PM
36 hours worked = 40 hours paid!
Employees work a 36-hour weekend schedule, but their time is rounded up and paid as 40 hours.
Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor Horizontal CNC and Robo machines
- Input, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs (G-code or similar)
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools
- Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep machines clean
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate production or quality concerns with supervisors and team members
Requirements
- Experience operating CNC machines
- Horizontal CNC and/or Robo experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Basic understanding of feeds, speeds, and tooling
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
- Must be comfortable working in a structured and procedure-driven environment
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
Preferred Experience
- HAAS
- RoboDrill
- FANUC controls
- Horizontal machining
- CNC programming or program adjustments
Additional Requirements
- English communication required
- Clean background required
- U.S. citizenship required due to the nature and federal requirements associated with the position
- Must successfully complete the client's required screening and hiring process
