Job Description

The Job
Safety on our jobs comes down to whether crews actually understand the programs, not whether the binder is current. This role puts you in front of office staff, field crews, and subcontractors, delivering training and onsite instruction on our safety programs and on federal and state regulations. You'll do it in both English and Spanish, since a large share of the workforce on our sites is Spanish-speaking. Training that doesn't reach the crew in their language doesn't prevent anything, which is why this position is bilingual.

Day to day, you'll support our Safety Managers and field leadership in implementing safety programs on active commercial interiors jobsites, running onsite training for employees and subcontractors, organizing workshops, and setting the example for how we expect people to work. The position is based out of our Kennesaw office, with regular travel to jobsites across Georgia and to our projects nationwide.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver jobsite safety orientations and weekly toolbox talks in English and Spanish
  • Help foremen and crews complete JHAs and daily pre-task plans
  • Conduct jobsite safety inspections, document findings, and follow up to confirm hazards get corrected
  • Help control the hazards specific to interiors work, including silica dust from cutting and sanding drywall, fall protection, scaffolds and rolling platforms, aerial lifts, stilts, and material handling
  • Assist with incident and near-miss reporting, investigations, and OSHA recordkeeping
  • Track training records and certifications for employees and subcontractors
  • Coordinate with general contractor safety teams and attend project safety meetings as needed
  • Organize safety workshops and help build a culture where crews look out for each other

Who We're Looking For
Someone early in a safety career with real drive: a strong work ethic, a habit of solving problems rather than logging them, and genuine interest in seeing our crews and general contractor partners succeed.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of construction safety experience
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish
  • Willingness to travel in-state and out of state on a regular basis

Nice to have:

  • Working knowledge of OSHA 1926 construction standards
  • Experience with commercial interiors, drywall, or framing trades
  • First aid/CPR certification or progress toward a CHST or STS credential

Physical Demands
Expect to be on your feet roughly 80% of the time. You'll need to lift, push, and pull items up to 50 pounds without assistance.

Benefits

  • Performance bonuses tied to metrics you can actually hit
  • Optional medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • 401(k) plan
  • Paid time off plus paid holidays
  • One week of paid volunteer leave annually, on top of PTO
  • Company-paid lodging and meal per diem while traveling
  • Competitive mileage reimbursement
  • Advancement opportunities in a company that's growing fast, including a path to Safety Manager
