Interventional Radiology Tech | Interventional Radiology specialty | Marysville, California, US
This travel assignment starts 10/26/2026 for 16 weeks in a short term acute care setting. The role carries a guaranteed 40 hours per week with a pay range of $2,772–$2,823 per week. Shift is 5x8 days, with an 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule and additional on-call requirements. The position involves working in a cardiovascular imaging environment performing complex interventional radiology procedures.

Responsibilities
- Perform, assist with, and complete Cardiac and Vascular radiographic examinations
- Conduct active interventional procedures in the cardiovascular laboratory using specialized equipment
- Operate imaging systems to produce digital images of the heart and vascular structures
- Position and instruct patients for examinations; ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Enter and adjust technical factors, including radiation dose and filming sequences, per protocol
- Start contrast injections and manage fluoroscopy and cinefluorography to guide catheter procedures
- Monitor patient status and vital signs during procedures; communicate changes to the physician
- Maintain sterile technique, document findings, and assist with post-procedure care and discharge instructions

Requirements
- Education: Associate’s Degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree in radiologic technology preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: ARRT certification required; Radiologic Technologist licensure in state of practice preferred; Basic Life Support (BLS) required (per policy); Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) acceptable if specified by policy
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in radiology; cath lab or special procedures experience preferred; fluoroscopy experience required
- Additional: Ability to work in a fast-paced cardiovascular lab environment; on-call availability required (6–7 days per month, including at least one weekend)
