Manual Bridge Mill Machinist

About the Role

Join a team that takes pride in precision. You'll run large-format bridge and gantry mills, turning custom components, weldments, and big castings into finished parts held to tight tolerances. The work is hands-on, and your accuracy, problem-solving, and craftsmanship show up directly in the quality of what we ship.

What You'll Do Machine and Inspect
  • Set up and run manual bridge mills from complex blueprints and GD&T specifications
  • Mill and bore large workpieces to tight tolerances
  • Check your work in process and at final inspection with micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicators, and depth gauges
  • Dial in speeds and feeds to keep large-part work efficient
Set Up and Maintain
  • Design and build custom fixturing that makes each job run smoother
  • Use overhead cranes and rigging to position and handle heavy components safely
  • Troubleshoot and maintain feed and spindle systems to keep machines running
Keep Growing
  • Sharpen your trade in an environment built around continuous learning
  • Work on complex, one-off parts instead of repetitive cycles
  • Stay engaged with a steady mix of low-volume custom builds
  • Take on new technical challenges every week

  • Ability to read complex blueprints and GD&T specifications

  • Experience with particular machine brands or control systems
  • Familiarity with laser alignment tools and advanced measurement techniques
  • Background in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Annual holiday bonus based on company performance
  • Employer-funded profit-sharing plan with a 100% company contribution
