Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial HVAC Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial HVAC and mechanical systems
  • Service commercial and industrial heating and cooling equipment
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control-system issues
  • Work with rooftop units, air handlers, chillers, boilers, furnaces, pumps, and related equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
  • Troubleshoot motors, compressors, thermostats, sensors, controls, and HVAC components
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
  • Perform refrigerant recovery, evacuation, charging, and leak detection
  • Work with BAS/DDC controls and troubleshoot system issues when required
  • Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
  • Follow OSHA, safety, and company procedures
  • Work independently or as part of a maintenance/service team

Qualifications:

  • Previous industrial or commercial HVAC experience
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience with refrigerant systems and HVAC controls
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings
  • EPA 608 certification preferred
  • Experience with BAS/DDC controls is a plus
  • Ability to use common HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work safely from lifts, ladders, and elevated work areas
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Industrial manufacturing facilities
  • Large rooftop units and air-handling systems
  • Chillers and boilers
  • Variable frequency drives (VFDs)
  • Pneumatic and electronic controls
  • Preventive maintenance programs
  • Building automation systems

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift and carry HVAC tools and equipment, work in industrial environments, climb ladders and stairs, and work in confined or elevated areas when required.
