Our client is seeking a skilled Welder / Fabricator to perform equipment repairs, structural fabrication, and routine maintenance across their facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication to repair metal components and structural equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical/structural issues and support preventive maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and strictly follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong welding and fabrication skills across various techniques and materials.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency with cutting equipment, power tools, and welding machinery.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset.

Working Conditions & Requirements

• Role operates in an industrial plant environment involving moving machinery, elevated heights, and varying weather/temperature conditions.
• Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer physical exam, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

This role salary range is $20-30 hourly.

This role is on-site role in Schoharie, NY.
