Overview
Interventional Radiology Tech travel assignment in Marysville, CA, starting 10/12/2026 for 16 weeks at a Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Weekly pay ranges from $2,671 to $2,937 per week with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift is a day schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM), 5x8, with on-call duties (approximately 6–7 days per month including at least one weekend). Responsibilities
- Perform, assist, and complete cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations and interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce digital images, adjust technical factors per protocol, and manage fluoroscopy and cine sequences.
- Position and immobilize patients, assist physicians with catheterizations and specialized studies, and monitor patient status throughout procedures.
- Initiate and manage contrast delivery under physician direction; observe instruments and monitors to aid in navigation and safety during interventions.
- Maintain sterile technique, radiation safety practices, and accurate documentation of procedures and findings.
- Provide patient preparation explanations, post-procedure instructions, and clear communication with the care team regarding patient responses and needs.
Requirements
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: ARRT certification; California Radiologic Technologist license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience: At least two years of recent radiology experience; 1–2 years in Cath Lab or interventional procedures preferred; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; on-call availability.
- Skills: Strong patient interaction, radiographic/fluoroscopic proficiency, and ability to operate and troubleshoot interventional imaging equipment.
- Eligibility: Willingness to travel to Marysville, CA for a 16-week assignment; compliance with facility and regulatory requirements.
