Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients across the ICU, acute inpatient tower, and acute rehab unit, sharing time equally between acute inpatient and acute rehab settings
- Manage a caseload of approximately 8–10 patients per day alongside a team of 3 SLPs
- Perform Video Fluoroscopic Swallow Studies (VFSS) as a core component of patient care
- Treat patients with diagnoses including stroke, pneumonia, sepsis, and related conditions
- May float to a satellite medical center location approximately 30 minutes away as needed
- Document patient care using the EPIC electronic medical records system
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
- Demonstrated competency in Video Fluoroscopic Swallow Studies (VFSS)
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Experience in an acute rehab unit setting
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Expected 37 hours per week in a dynamic, multi-setting environment covering both acute inpatient and acute rehab populations
- Work within a supportive team structure with manager oversight and rehab aide support on each shift
