Job Details
- Position Description: Performs radiographic procedures based on departmental guidelines, using independent judgment and applying learned methodologies according to established policies and procedures.
- Required Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiology program, national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable, and BLS certification. This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with 1 year of experience. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, analyze data and solve problems.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, with weekend and holiday requirements.
- Additional Information: The role involves performing prescribed radiographic procedures, maintaining quality control of equipment, and ensuring a safe environment. Candidates must have the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use standard precautions due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
