Job Title

Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Location

Decatur, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Step-Down unit setting within a long-term acute care environment
• Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry and mechanical ventilator support
• Administer and titrate vasoactive drips including Norepinephrine and Dopamine
• Assess, treat, and document complex wound care needs
• Maintain patient safety and quality outcomes while managing a patient ratio of 1:4–5

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Prior experience with telemetry monitoring
• Experience managing patients on mechanical ventilators
• Demonstrated experience with vasoactive drip management (Norepinephrine and Dopamine)
• Experience with complex wound care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a long-term acute care or step-down/PCU setting
• Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations requiring multi-system support
