Job Description

As a Painter Level 1 here at Intelligrated, you will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to products and surfaces, ensuring quality finishes that meet company standards. This entry-level role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in surface preparation, paint application techniques, and safety practices within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Danville, VA location on an On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact product quality and appearance, contributing to the overall customer satisfaction and operational efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper paint adhesion and finish quality.
  • Apply paint, stains, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment according to specifications and safety guidelines.
  • Inspect finished surfaces for defects and perform touch-ups or corrections as needed to meet quality standards.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Experience in basic painting or coating applications in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and paint application methods.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures related to handling paints, solvents, and spray equipment.
  • Ability to operate painting tools and equipment such as spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
