Do you have experience supporting students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing? Clarifi Staffing Solutions is connecting qualified educators with an Illinois school district seeking a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for the 2026–2027 academic year.
This role offers the opportunity to provide specialized instruction while helping students access classroom content, develop communication skills, and participate more confidently in their educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and document student progress.
- Support and implement IEP goals and objectives.
- Support academic and communication development.
- Adapt instructional materials and classroom strategies.
- Promote an accessible and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide individualized instruction based on student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school support teams.
Requirements
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Appropriate Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) endorsement.
- Commitment to accessible instruction and student-centered support.
- Ability to work effectively with students, educators, and school support teams.
