Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the laundry team to achieve daily operational goals with efficiency and enthusiasm.
- Oversee the sorting, washing, drying, and folding of linens to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
- Coordinate and manage the laundry schedule to optimize workflow and meet guest demands promptly.
- Ensure all laundry equipment is maintained and operated safely, addressing any issues proactively.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain consistency in linen cleanliness and presentation.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the laundry department.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of commercial laundry or housekeeping experience, often requiring 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Physical Skills: Ability to stand for long shifts, push heavy carts, and lift up to 25–50 pounds.
- Soft Skills: Strong organization, team leadership, and communication abilities with a flexible schedule for weekends and holidays.
