Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group learning support.
- Monitor student progress and use data to guide instruction.
- Promote positive classroom behavior and student engagement.
- Modify lessons, assignments, assessments, and classroom materials.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Programs.
- Maintain accurate student records and special education documentation.
- Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and student needs.
- Communicate student progress with families and school team members.
- Participate in IEP meetings, team planning, and multidisciplinary discussions.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service professionals.
Requirements
- Prior school-based experience preferred, but not required.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
- Valid Indiana teaching license with the appropriate Special Education credential/endorsement.
