RN Nurse Manager – Operating Room (OR)

Location: Santa Rosa, California
Schedule: Full-time
Base Pay: $89.73–$141.64 per hour

Position Overview

Avento Health is recruiting an experienced Operating Room RN Nurse Manager for a full-time nursing leadership opportunity in Santa Rosa, California. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and managing nursing care for a designated patient population while supporting a high-quality patient care environment.

The Nurse Manager oversees the 24-hour operation of the patient care unit with accountability for leadership, staffing, fiscal management, planning, organization, and operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and manage nursing care for the assigned patient population.
  • Oversee day-to-day and 24-hour nursing operations for the unit.
  • Provide leadership across staffing, fiscal management, planning, organization, and operational performance.
  • Build proactive, collaborative relationships across interdisciplinary hospital functions.
  • Develop and support programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care designed to meet patients' nursing care needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • California Registered Nurse license upon hire.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire.
  • At least 2 years of Operating Room RN experience in an acute-care hospital setting.
  • At least 1 year of RN hospital leadership experience, such as Charge RN, Assistant Nurse Manager, or Nurse Manager.
  • Computer experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of clinical experience.
  • 2 years of management experience.
  • Relevant specialty certification based on unit.
