We’re seeking a hands-on Facilities Specialist to support daily operations within a manufacturing facility. This role focuses on general building maintenance, workspace setup, and facility support tasks to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, and comfortable performing a variety of maintenance and light trade duties.
Job Duties:
- Build, modify, and install workstations, benches, shelving, and other production support equipment.
- Break down, reconfigure, and set up offices and work areas as business needs change.
- Perform general facility maintenance including painting, patching, and minor carpentry.
- Assist with basic HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance and repairs.
- Support preventative maintenance activities throughout the facility.
- Respond to facility-related work orders and maintenance requests.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to minimize downtime during facility work.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, manufacturing, or a related role preferred.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems is a plus.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
