Field Survey Technician

Stonefield provides consulting services for real estate developers, universities, and public agencies. We are seeking to expand our boundaries and services at all times. We believe that Surveying is a natural expansion for the firm and will allow us to service our clients' objectives on a wider platform.

This is a dynamic position that will offer the opportunity for diverse interaction and rapid growth. The right candidate will bring a strong technical background, interpersonal skills, intellectual curiosity, and a desire for continued growth and learning. As Stonefield is a multi-disciplinary firm, interest in cross-disciplinary work within the field of civil engineering and consulting is encouraged. 

Job responsibilities will include Locating and driving stakes into the ground, transporting necessary supplies to and stocking the field vehicle, Proper care and maintenance of equipment, Properly and safely using tools such as: hammer, machete, chainsaw, and shovel, Clear survey centerline of obstructions, Paint and mark laths, and properly operating a level rod and Prism Pole.
