Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

Kiku Home Health Care LLC is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide compassionate, hands-on support to clients in their homes.

Position Summary

The Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) will assist clients with daily living activities and personal care while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence. This role is part-time and onsite in Union, NJ, supporting individuals who need reliable care and attentive companionship.

You will work closely with the care team to follow established care plans, document services accurately, and communicate any changes in condition or needs to ensure safe, consistent support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, following each client’s care plan

• Support mobility and comfort needs, including safe transfers, positioning, and basic mobility assistance

• Assist with light housekeeping and meal support as appropriate to the care setting

• Observe and report changes in health status, behavior, or client needs to the appropriate team members

• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate shifts in condition clearly and promptly

Required Qualifications

• Current certification as a Home Health Aide (CHHA) or equivalent certification as required for the role

• Ability to provide compassionate care while respecting client privacy and dignity

• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately

• Reliability and professionalism in an onsite, client-focused environment

• Ability to assist with personal care tasks safely and effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing in-home or home health support to clients with varying care needs

• Familiarity with basic infection prevention and safe caregiving practices

• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and other care team members

• Comfort working with clients who may require patience, encouragement, and structured routines

• Reliable transportation

Compensation

Hourly rate: $18 - $20
