Job Title
Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry
LocationGreensboro, NC | Acute Care
Schedule / Job TypeContract | 26-Week Assignment | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holiday Rotation
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a primarily Medical-Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring capability
- Manage blood product administration, peripheral line care, and IV insertion
- Administer and monitor Heparin, Insulin, and PCA therapy
- Apply isolation precautions and utilize nasal cannula oxygen delivery as indicated
- Participate in Rapid Response Team activations as needed
- Serve as Charge RN as needed; float to other campus locations within the health system as required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Must successfully pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (two attempts allowed)
- Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
- No open background cases permitted
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; current driver's license required to verify address
- This position requires a 26-week commitment — 13-week contracts are not available
- Prior experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry setting
- Familiarity with Charge RN responsibilities
- Experience with EKG interpretation
- Comfort working in a multi-campus health system environment with float requirements
- Expected patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6 on a well-supported unit with access to Rapid Response teams
