Psychiatrist Is Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage in VA - Now Hiring

• Mon - Fri, 8 am - 5 pm -- 8-hour days, on-site
• 1 weekend/month -- call starts Fri 5 pm, rounds Sat & Sun until Mon 8 am
• On-call rotation -- 1 week every 3 weeks during daytime hours
• Census of 10 - 12 patients per day per psychiatrist
• Adult inpatient psychiatry unit
• Weekend rounding supported by a resident or NP
• Avg 1 - 2 admits/discharges per day per provider
• Minimum 12-month commitment -- longer assignments encouraged
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
