Job Summary

We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our Family Medicine team in San Marcos, TX. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care in a collaborative outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a wide range of patient needs and building long-term relationships within the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope primary care including preventive services, acute care, and chronic disease management

• Perform patient evaluations, physical exams, and routine screenings

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging

• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians

• Educate patients on wellness, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR

• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care

Qualifications

• Current Texas license as a Physician Assistant

• National certification (NCCPA)

• Previous experience in family medicine or primary care preferred

• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Outpatient only
