Compensation

• Competitive salary: $230,000 - $315,000 per year, based on training, experience, and formal VA pay-setting (Base Pay + Market Pay)

• Incentives: Recruitment/relocation and performance incentives may be available, subject to eligibility and facility needs

• Federal retirement with pension (FERS) plus Thrift Savings Plan with up to 5% employer contribution

• Potential annual performance pay (up to 7.5% of salary, maximum $15,000) and possible CME reimbursement up to $1,000 for eligible full-time, board-certified physicians

Practice environment

• Care for Veterans in a team-based Patient Aligned Care Team model with strong nursing and ancillary support

• Mostly outpatient continuity care: chronic disease management, preventive care, and same-day access for acute needs

• Electronic medical records, embedded pharmacy, social work, mental health, and specialty referral support
