Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services across multiple care settings, including outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing facility (SNF) populations
- Treat patients of all ages and diagnoses within a critical access hospital environment
- Participate in specialty therapy services including wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric care as needed
- Float within scope of practice to cover outpatient, acute care, and SNF needs as required by the facility
- Document patient care and progress using Epic electronic health records
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Active, unrestricted Alaska Physical Therapist license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
- Experience working with pediatric and adolescent patient populations
- Background in a critical access hospital or multi-setting therapy environment
- Familiarity with specialty therapy areas such as lymphedema, pelvic floor, or wound care
- Housing and a rental vehicle are provided by the facility for the duration of the assignment, offering a turnkey experience in a unique Alaskan coastal community
- Expected 70 hours of work per two-week period, with the possibility of one 10-hour shift off per two-week period, offering a structured and predictable schedule
