Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services across multiple care settings, including outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing facility (SNF) populations
- Treat patients of all ages and diagnoses within a critical access hospital environment
- Participate in specialty therapy services including wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric programs
- Float within scope of practice to support outpatient, acute care, and SNF coverage as facility needs dictate
- Document patient care using Epic electronic health records
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Active Alaska Physical Therapist license required — compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- Must be willing to float between outpatient, acute care, and SNF settings as needed
- 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
- Experience working with pediatric and adolescent patient populations
- Familiarity with specialty therapy areas such as lymphedema, pelvic floor, or wound care
- Prior experience in a critical access hospital or multi-setting therapy department
- Housing and a rental vehicle are provided to travelers for the duration of the assignment, supporting a smooth relocation to this unique Alaskan community
- Expected 70 hours of work per two-week period within a diverse, multi-specialty therapy department offering broad clinical exposure
