Job Summary
The organization is seeking a CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist for a position located in the healthcare facility. This role involves performing CT imaging procedures and X-ray examinations to support patient diagnosis and treatment. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical setting and adapt to operational needs.
Job Details
- Certification requirements include state license and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Radiologic Technologist certification, along with AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification.
- Education requirements include an Associate Degree or Certificate.
- The role requires 2 years of experience in CT and X-ray procedures.
- Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week; schedule may vary based on operational needs, with an anticipated transition to Monday through Thursday night shifts upon the permanent employee's return.
- Rotation includes weekend duty every other weekend and holiday rotation.
- Float to other Aspirus facilities in the Southern Region, including WI Rapids, Stevens Point, and Plover, may be required, including float to the orthopedics outpatient unit on campus.
- On-call and callback are required, with call-back hours counting toward unbillable hours and call-back pay provided for callbacks. Call-back minimum is 2 hours.
- Equipment used includes a GE 64-slice VCT scanner, with X-ray equipment from GE, Siemens, and Phillips.
- Candidates are required to have at least 1 year of CT and X-ray experience.
- Submission requires current WI license, ARRT (R) certification, and BLS certification.
