CT Technologist Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join our team. This position involves performing CT and X-Ray imaging procedures for both adult and pediatric patients in various settings, including outpatient and emergency departments.
Responsibilities- Perform CT and X-Ray examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and extremities.
- Initiate and manage IV access, averaging 8-9 IVs per day.
- Utilize PACS and portable imaging equipment, with a preference for experience with Siemens and Samsung X-Ray systems.
- Conduct various diagnostic procedures, including brain perfusion and cardiac CT studies.
- Accurately document patient information and imaging results using EPIC systems.
- Occasionally float to other facilities as needed.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiology, with a focus on CT and X-Ray.
- Current BLS certification required.
- ARRT certification in both CT and Radiography.
- Experience working with infants and pediatrics is preferred.
- Strong understanding of imaging techniques and patient care in emergency and outpatient settings.
This position requires a 4x9 work schedule, with shifts from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.
