Physical Therapist

Key Responsibilities- Provide physical therapy services across multiple care settings, including outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing facility (SNF) populations
- Treat patients of all ages and diagnoses within a critical access hospital environment
- Support specialty therapy areas including wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric services
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs across outpatient, acute care, and SNF settings as required
- Document patient care and progress using Epic electronic health records
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Active, unrestricted Alaska Physical Therapist license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- Must submit all time-off requests upfront at the time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
- Experience working with pediatric and adolescent patient populations
- Background in multi-setting therapy environments (outpatient, inpatient, SNF)
- Familiarity with specialty therapy services such as lymphedema, pelvic floor, or wound care
- Housing and a rental vehicle are provided by the facility for the duration of the assignment, offering a supported and convenient travel experience
- Expected 70 hours per two-week pay period in a diverse, multi-specialty therapy department serving a broad patient population
