Occupational Therapist (OT) in outpatient and acute care settings at a healthcare provider in Ahoskie, NC. This position involves providing occupational therapy services for adults and pediatric patients, with a focus on orthopedic, neurological, and fine motor issues. The role requires a versatile skill set, including basic splinting, and includes on-call responsibilities for stroke cases.
Job Details
- Qualifications: BLS certification, North Carolina license, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in outpatient and acute care settings.
- Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week.
- Setting: Approximately 70% outpatient (adult and pediatric populations) and 30% acute care.
- Responsibilities: Deliver outpatient occupational therapy services, cover acute care when outpatient caseload is slow or staff is off, with some responsibilities in acute adult and geriatric care.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with splinting and pediatric therapy.
- Additional Information: May be required to be on call for strokes, with arrival at the facility within 30 minutes of a call. Call-back pay is applicable.
