Wilken Trucking – CDL-A OTR Driver

$0.65 Per Mile | Rolling Miles | Midwest, South & Southeast Routes

Wilken Trucking is hiring CDL-A OTR Truck Drivers to join our team. We’re a smaller, personable company that values our drivers and understands that life doesn’t always fit neatly into a set schedule.

Pay & Compensation

• $0.65 per mile

• Paid on rolling miles

• $15 stop pay per stop after the first 3 stops on a load

• Consistent OTR freight and miles

Home Time

Our typical schedule is 3 weeks out followed by 3 days home.

Drivers also begin earning additional guaranteed home time after three weeks on the road.

While we have a structured home-time policy to keep schedules consistent, we also understand that drivers have families, appointments, and responsibilities outside of the truck. As a smaller company, we're able to take a more personal approach and work directly with drivers to coordinate additional home time when needed, even when it falls outside the standard schedule.

Where You'll Run

Our drivers primarily operate throughout the Midwest, South, and Southeast, with frequent freight moving through:

• Florida

• Mississippi

• Georgia

• Midwest markets and surrounding states

Equipment

Our fleet consists of automatic transmission trucks, so manual transmission experience is not required.

Driver Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL required

• Tanker endorsement preferred

• Hazmat endorsement preferred

• Ability to safely operate a tractor-trailer and comply with DOT and company safety requirements

Driver Responsibilities

As a Wilken Trucking driver, you will:

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer across assigned OTR routes

• Transport and properly secure freight while maintaining cargo integrity

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Maintain accurate driver logs, cargo records, and inspection reports

• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status, route changes, and potential delays

• Manage routes efficiently to meet pickup and delivery schedules

• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety standards

• Assist with loading and unloading freight when required
