Groundskeeping Maintenance

We are looking for a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician to handle general repairs, preventive maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of the property. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, reliable, able to work independently, and experienced in several areas of building maintenance.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform general plumbing repairs, including leaks, faucets, toilets, drains, and plumbing fixtures
• Replace or repair pipes, valves, fittings, and other plumbing components
• Perform basic electrical repairs, including outlets, switches, light fixtures, breakers, and minor troubleshooting
• Perform air-conditioning cleaning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Clean AC coils, filters, drain lines, vents, and related components
• Diagnose common AC problems and perform minor repairs and parts replacement when needed
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on air-conditioning systems
• Repair and replace drywall, including patching, sanding, and finishing
• Perform interior and exterior painting and touch-up work
• Shampoo and clean carpets
• Perform minor flooring and general building repairs
• Maintain property grounds and exterior areas
• Perform lawn care, including mowing, trimming, edging, and basic landscaping
• Pick up trash and debris and keep parking lots, sidewalks, dumpster areas, and grounds clean
• Perform pressure washing and exterior cleaning when needed
• Repair doors, locks, hinges, cabinets, furniture, and other property items
• Complete preventive maintenance inspections and identify needed repairs
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair needs
• Maintain tools, equipment, maintenance areas, and supplies in a clean and organized condition
• Assist with any other general property maintenance duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, construction, hotel, apartment, or commercial property experience preferred
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, AC/HVAC cleaning and repairs, drywall, painting, and general repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot maintenance problems and complete repairs independently
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment
• Dependable, punctual, and able to manage multiple maintenance requests
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working indoors and outdoors
• Valid driver's license preferred
• HVAC or maintenance certifications are a plus
