Install Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Install Coordinator to manage and oversee the successful execution of architectural signage installations. This role serves as the primary link between our clients, installers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced construction environment where schedules change frequently, enjoys solving logistical challenges, and is willing to step into the field when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule all sign installations, adjusting priorities as project timelines evolve.
• Serve as the primary client contact for installation scheduling, communication, and coordination.
• Work closely with project managers, production, installers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are ready for installation.
• Identify scheduling conflicts and develop solutions to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Coordinate and manage subcontracted installation crews, including scheduling, communication, and performance follow-up.
• Conduct site visits to verify field conditions, identify potential installation challenges, and meet with clients before installation.
• Perform installations when necessary to support the field team and maintain project schedules.
• Lead and coordinate a three-person installation team, ensuring work is assigned efficiently and completed to company standards.
• Monitor installation progress and proactively resolve field issues.
• Ensure installations comply with company quality standards and applicable safety requirements.
• Review installer timecards for accuracy and approve payroll information.
• Review prevailing wage documentation and certified payroll information for completeness and compliance.
• Maintain accurate installation schedules, job documentation, and project records.
• Continually evaluate installation processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating construction, architectural signage, commercial installation, or related field operations.
• Strong understanding of basic construction methods, jobsite practices, and installation sequencing.
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable interacting professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and field personnel.
• Ability to read construction drawings and site plans is preferred.
• Working knowledge of prevailing wage reporting and certified payroll requirements is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software; ERP or project management software experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites.
