About Northedge Steel

Northedge Steel is a leading steel building manufacturer specializing in high-quality steel structures. We are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Associate Territory Manager to support our dealership network and help expand our presence across the Southeast.

About the Role

As an Associate Territory Manager, you will represent Northedge Steel throughout our Southeast dealership network. You will spend much of your week visiting current dealers, meeting potential new dealers, and helping answer questions by phone, email, and in person. Your primary focus will be building strong relationships that make dealers want to work with us.

This position is the first step in our three-level Territory Manager career path. We will provide training, pair you with experienced members of our dealer team, and give you additional responsibility as you grow.

Steel building industry experience is not required. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is eager to learn, and is comfortable with frequent travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a friendly, reliable point of contact for Southeast dealers by phone, email, and in person.
  • Answer dealer questions and coordinate with the appropriate team members when additional information is needed.
  • Visit current dealerships regularly to strengthen relationships, understand their needs, and represent Northedge Steel in the field.
  • Identify and connect with potential dealerships across the Southeast, with guidance and support from leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealership owners and their staff.
  • Help onboard new dealers and ensure they have the resources and information needed to get started.
  • Assist with dealer training sessions and take on additional training responsibilities as your product and process knowledge grows.
  • Share dealer feedback and marketing ideas with leadership and the marketing team.
  • Keep dealer visits, activity, and communication updated in our CRM and other company systems.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
  • Comfortable using technology and learning new software, including CRM and ERP systems.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time, including overnight stays.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to reliably commute to our Rural Hall, NC office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • One to two years of experience in sales, account management, customer service, or a related role.
  • Experience building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Negotiation experience.

If you do not meet every preferred qualification, we still encourage you to apply. We value people skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Schedule and Travel

  • Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed.
  • The first two weeks will primarily consist of in-office training at our Rural Hall, NC location.
  • After training, a typical week includes approximately three days on the road and at least two days in the office.
  • Every third or fourth week will involve lighter travel, with most or all of the week spent in the office.
  • Regional travel across the Southeast, including overnight stays, is required.
