Pay: $18–$20/hour, depending on experience

About the Job

We are hiring Material Handlers to support a busy manufacturing and warehouse operation in West Warwick, RI. This position is responsible for making sure production has the raw materials and packaging needed to keep operations running smoothly.

This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of warehouse experience, especially experience in a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Supply raw materials and packaging to production areas as needed
• Move materials between the warehouse, production, packaging, and shipping areas
• Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, label materials, and put items away
• Replenish inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Return unused materials to the warehouse
• Perform daily inventory cycle counts
• Load and unload materials from machines, conveyors, and shipping areas
• Respond to requests for materials in a timely manner
• Complete required paperwork accurately
• Communicate inventory or material issues to the appropriate team members
• Assist the Quality team when needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of warehouse experience required
• Manufacturing warehouse experience strongly preferred
• Experience using a hand jack is preferred
• Must be comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately track materials
• Reliable and able to work independently

Note: Temporary employees will not operate automated equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to continuously lift up to 30 lbs., with assistance when needed
• Ability to move materials throughout a warehouse/manufacturing facility

Schedule & Duration

• 1st Shift
• Temporary position expected to last 6+ months
• Potential to extend beyond 6 months or convert to a permanent position
• 2 positions available

Additional Requirements

Candidates will be required to successfully complete a background check and drug screening, including THC testing, prior to starting.
