Location: Iron Station, NC (On-site)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $21 to $24/hour DOE
Type: Contract-to-Hire

About Opportunity

Join a well-established company that sells, installs and services foodservice equipment for convenience stores, supermarkets, restaurants, and other foodservice businesses.  This role serves as a key point of contact for customers while supporting sales, order management, and project coordination activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and route inquiries to the appropriate department.
• Research product costs and pricing to support customer requests.
• Verify costs before providing information to customers.
• Enter customer orders and service requests into QuickBooks from purchase orders, emails, and sales team requests.
• Confirm customer credit terms and account information.
• Process work orders and coordinate with vendors to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Investigate and resolve purchase order cost discrepancies.
• Update and revise orders with accurate pricing information.
• Prepare completed orders for invoicing.
• Support the sales team with quote requests and pricing information.
• Research order status and provide customers with shipment and delivery updates.
• Assist with scheduling deliveries, installations, and service appointments.
• Perform additional administrative and customer service duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in customer service, account management, inside sales, or a related support role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with QuickBooks or other ERP/accounting systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
