Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Specialist to join our production team. This isn't just about moving boxes warehouse job—you will play a vital role in our heavy industrial shop, handling parts for machine assembly, loading large shipments for interstate movement, and managing raw materials and finished machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pull, stage, and deliver parts, hardware, and sub-assemblies to production machinists and fabricators.
• Safely operate overhead bridge cranes and forklifts to unload flatbed trailers, move structural steel, and stage heavy components.
• Inspect inbound freight, process shipping documents/packing slips, and log inventory movements.
• Monitor inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and maintain an organized inventory staging area.
• Prepare outgoing freight, rig, load, lash, and block/brace heavy machinery onto flatbed trailers for interstate movement.
• Operate basic hand and power tools to support crating and general workshop tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Warehouse & Logistics Experience: 2+ years of industrial warehouse, material handling, or shipping/receiving experience.
• Equipment Certification: Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes preferred (OSHA Forklift Operator Certification is a major plus).
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate power tools, and work in a physically demanding metal shop environment
• Tool & Computer Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools (for cargo blocking and bracing) and basic computer entry skills.
• Work Authorization & Driver License: Valid US Driver's License and legal authorization to work in the United States.
