Forklift Operator

Our client in Hamilton is seeking a full-time employee to work in their facility. The job environment is fast-paced and can get dusty.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Move inventory and materials within the warehouse, load and unload trucks as needed
• Retrieve and transport products to designated storage areas or shipping zones based on operational needs
• Pick product from correct locations to fulfill customer orders
• Pick multiple orders at one time, confirm UPC# and quantity of product for accuracy
• Accurately and efficiently load outbound shipments
• Maintain clean and orderly staging, storage, and dock areas to ensure efficient workflow
• Work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and shipping/receiving teams to meet operational goals
• Adhere to all safety regulations, conduct pre-operation equipment checks, and report any malfunctions or safety hazards
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Forklift counterbalance license with at least 1-year experience.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be comfortable working in warehouse conditions
• Capable of working effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team

Hours:

Monday to Friday

8 am to 4 pm
