Assistant Warehourse Manager

SUMMARY

• Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations.
• Support inventory control and ensure inventory records remain accurate.
• Assist with supervision of forklift drivers and warehouse personnel.
• Monitor loading and unloading activities to ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Promote and enforce health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Assist with employee training and development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Including but not limited to:

• Assist with coordinating daily warehouse operations and workflow.
• Perform and verify cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Verify physical inventory counts match system inventory records.
• Monitor product loading and unloading activities for accuracy and safety.
• Assist with scheduling and directing warehouse personnel to meet operational needs.
• Maintain daily shipping and receiving records.
• Support onboarding and training of warehouse employees.
• Assist with ensuring forklift operators maintain current certifications and required training.
• Support warehouse safety programs and participate in safety meetings.
• Serve as the primary warehouse contact during the Warehouse Manager's absence.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED/ Prior Warehouse Supervising/Managing
